The Mission:

We are hiring a Strategy Associate to work directly with our Strategy Manager on projects that span across the entire organisation. The Strategy team works closely with the CEO and Management team to inform key decisions, such as company growth plans and fundraising strategy. 

We are looking for someone with a “Can do” attitude seeking to gain work experience in a fast-growing company. The ideal profile will be a problem solver with a desire to learn how to use research and analysis to inform key company decisions. It is also a great opportunity to gain understanding of all the moving parts within a successful tech start-up.

Some of the things you’ll be working on:

  • Conduct market research:
    • Gain an understanding of market trends

    • Assess the competitive landscape

    • Develop benchmarks on key indicators such as user and revenue growth

  • Analysis:
    • Structure business problems and develop recommendations for key strategic initiatives

    • Assist in the identification of growth opportunities

    • Support in development of business cases

    • Develop growth projections / forecasts

  • Presentation of findings:
    • Consolidate findings from research and analysis in a structured and ‘easy to understand’ manner

    • Assist in preparation of materials for Management, Board and Investor meetings

Job requirements

Your Profile:

  • 1-2 years professional experience in Strategy Consulting, Banking, Finance or Corporate and Business Development

  • Detail-oriented, collaborative, and a team player

  • Can demonstrate strong analytical skills and confidence with numbers

  • Solid MS Excel and Powerpoint skills

  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Hands-on and proactive

  • Strong desire to learn - we want you to learn and grow in the role, and our team will support you along this journey

  • Aptitude to grasp new concepts
