Are you passionate about building communities and empowering aspiring youth? We’re hiring Senior Community Manager to level up, engage and expand our Gen Z community.

What you’ll be doing:


Community Management

  • Mobilize and animate our community with campaigns, content and online events

  • Connect our community by animating, hosting and nurturing groups around shared interests

  • Support and focus on our top 1000 supermembers, leading and organizing Goodwall’s Youth Council and similar initiatives

  • Oversee and scale our community monitoring and moderation to create a safe space protected from bots and other malicious actors

  • Onboard new members at scale and welcome them to the community

  • Oversee community support, troubleshooting and non-technical FAQs

  • Announce and roll out feature updates and product launches

  • Instill a sense of belonging and promote a vibrant healthy positive and supportive community culture on Goodwall


Insights & Research

  • Synthesize insights from community interactions

  • Monitor member sentiment and be their voice to our broader team

  • Coordinate research of target audience (e.g. trending topics)

  • Track and analyze community engagement metrics to provide insights and recommendations

  • Surface critical issues and points of friction to our product team


Team & Strategy

  • Lead and oversee a team of regional community managers supporting and interacting with our members locally

  • Oversee a team of community moderators globally

  • Set clear goals and expectations for team members

  • Define, implement and iterate on our global and local community strategy to engage members

  • Liaise with other teams such as Product and Growth to optimize processes and on strategic initiatives that drive user growth, engagement and retention


Job requirements

Preferred Skills & Work Experience:

  • 4+ years of work experience in a fast-paced Community Management, Digital Campaign or Digital Content environment

  • Track record managing and mobilizing large communities

  • Experience managing a team

  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills (english); other languages are a plus

  • Growth-mindset, curiosity, autonomy, resourcefulness and stong work ethic

  • Attention to detail, data-driven and analytical

  • Passionate about online communities, social media and Gen Z

  • Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with frequent context switching

  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment

  • Comfort with semi-technical tasks like using an admin panel and willingness to learn


Bonus Points:

  • Familiar with social media metrics tools and dashboards (e.g. Mixpanel, Google Data Studio, Facebook Business Suite)

  • Degree in Communications or other related field

  • High quality content creation for different online communities (Tiktok, Instagram, Youtube, Reddit, Discord and Snap)

  • Experience using Goodwall
